English: Lajos Kossuth in 1877. The photo was taken on the occasion that Kossuth was visited in his home at Collegno al Barracone by a 100-member strong Hungarian delegation from Cegléd and Nagykőrös (called the hundred of Cegléd). Kossuth presented each member of the delegation with a dedicated portrait photo taken in the studio of photographer Ambrosetti in Turin. This photograph was dedicated to Lajos Póka from Nagykőrös. The autograph says: "On occasion of the visit of the delegation from Cegléd in Barracone / to Lajos Póka, the scribe from Nagykőrös / as a memory / Lajos Kossuth".
Magyar: Kossuth Lajos 1877-ben. A fotó abból az alkalomból készült, hogy Kossuthot Collegno al Barracone-i otthonában meglátogatta egy százfős ceglédi és nagykőrösi küldöttség (a ceglédi százak). Kossuth a delegáció mindegyik tagját megajándékozta egy portréfotóval, amit Ambrosetti torinói fotográfusnál készíttetett. Ezt a fényképet Póka Lajosnak dedikálta. A kézzel írt felirat szövege: „A Czeglédi küldöttség Baracconei látogatása alkalmából / Póka Lajos Nagykőrös városi irnoknak / emlékűl / Kossuth Lajos”. |
